Depends on where you get a job.
Here is the info:
There are 2 types of private school jobs.
1) Daytime jobs with hrs such as 9/10am to 6/7pm, teaching mostly kindergartens with some elementary
English schools teach kindergarten( between the ages of 4 and 6) in the morning and elementary school students ( between the ages of 13 and 15) in the afternoon. Kindergarten programs are becoming more and more popular in Korea.
2) Afternoon jobs with hrs such as 1-9pm/2-10pm, teaching mostly elementary with some middle school
Korean Teens have to study in order to have good grade in College Scholastic Ability Test (colloquially known as Soo Neung, only be taken once a year, and get an intensive training. So to speak, almost of all Korean educational curriculum are designed to accomplish for that.
Both jobs will also have:
Max of 30 teaching hrs per week
Free (furnished) apt
2 weeks of paid vacation plus national holidays
1 way flight to Korea
Salary scale of 2.1 to 2.3 million KRW/month (in most cases)
Completion bonus of 1 month's salary
